Sage's 7th month

Here I am again with an update on our quickly growing baby. His 7th month flew by and was full of exciting new developments and precious cuddly moments. Sage's second tooth came in on the bottom and has been followed by the appearance of four top teeth! Two are still emerging but I can only imagine how uncomfortable his teething must be. Despite this Sage has been a happy camper of late. He has quickly mastered sitting up unassisted and is not afraid to bring himself back to the ground to play on his tummy or roll. Yesterday Sage did some scooting on his belly in order to get access to some toys that were several feet away. It was exciting and I wish I had it on video. Amara continue to be a wonderful sister and amazing little girl. Her fourth birthday is coming up next month! Month 6

Sage is now 7 months old! I have been so busy that my month 6 post is late. But it was a fun and exciting month for Sage and all of us. We traveled to Detroit to visit the Dawidowicz family and attend Tressa and Ian's wedding. We stayed with Uncle Pete and Aunt Amy who were very gracious hosts. We were able to visit a little bit with Grandpa Joe as well. His health is not well and he was glad to be able to meet Sage. What has the little guy been up to? Besides the obvious (sleeping, eating, growing, playing, smiling) he cut his first tooth this month. He also mastered rolling and can get from one side of a small room to the other by rolling if he wants. He also spent a lot of time in the "bumbo seat" (see photos) and tried his first "solid" food. After a few failed trials of avocado Sage has given the thumbs up to bananas, bananas mixed with peanut butter, and sometimes baby oatmeal. He also seems to like pureed carrots. We will keep trying new foods. His favor...
