Month 6
Sage is now 7 months old! I have been so busy that my month 6 post is late. But it was a fun and exciting month for Sage and all of us. We traveled to Detroit to visit the Dawidowicz family and attend Tressa and Ian's wedding. We stayed with Uncle Pete and Aunt Amy who were very gracious hosts. We were able to visit a little bit with Grandpa Joe as well. His health is not well and he was glad to be able to meet Sage.
What has the little guy been up to? Besides the obvious (sleeping, eating, growing, playing, smiling) he cut his first tooth this month. He also mastered rolling and can get from one side of a small room to the other by rolling if he wants. He also spent a lot of time in the "bumbo seat" (see photos) and tried his first "solid" food. After a few failed trials of avocado Sage has given the thumbs up to bananas, bananas mixed with peanut butter, and sometimes baby oatmeal. He also seems to like pureed carrots. We will keep trying new foods. His favorite thing still seems to be milk!
Last but not least Sage is still above the 100% growth line for height. He did well at his 6 month check up and didn't even really cry when they gave him his shots. What a trooper. We love this little guy and are so proud of him.
